Bourne Education Trust is delighted to announce its strategic partnership with Teach First, securing additional future high-quality resourcing across the Trust.

Determined to help schools break the cycle of inequality in education and build a fair education for all, Teach First works to develop the next generation of great teachers and brilliant leaders, growing a powerful network of talented people committed to change.

Aligning closely in their visions, Teach First and BET strive to:

• See every child reach their potential;
• Make the education system more inclusive, reflecting the communities that they serve; and
• Make better decisions because of it.

To date Teach First has placed more than 12,000 teachers in low-income areas (supporting more than one million children in England and in Wales) – having confirmed the partnership in March 2022, BET is thrilled to be able to announce successful placements have already been secured for the 2022-23 academic year, with further recruitment cycles planned.
