The Mead Infant & Nursery School
BackThe Mead is a three-form entry infant school and nursery located in the borough of Epsom and Ewell. The school has a Hearing Impaired Unit for deaf children and shares a large playing field with fellow Bourne Education Trust school, Auriol Junior School on an adjoining site.
In addition to its main accomodation the school opened a ‘state-of-the-art’ foundation stage wing for children aged 3-5 years. The foundation wing contains the nursery, three reception classes and two outdoor areas which are successfully used as extensions of the reception classrooms alongside a community room and a specialist room for the teaching of the deaf.
The Mead prides itself on being a welcoming environment in which all pupils are happy and motivated to learn.
