Bourne Education Trust appoints Paul Ransley as Finance Director

Bourne Education Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Ransley as Finance Director. In this central role, Paul will work closely with the executive to steer the financial management of the organisation, collaborating with schools to ensure seamless operations and compliance with financial regulations.

Paul's appointment follows a rigorous recruitment process, in a highly competitive field, highlighting the talent and experience he will bring to the position. As an integral member of the leadership team, Paul will actively contribute to executing the Trust's commitment to effective financial management and high standards of financial governance.

Paul brings over 30 years of experience as a chartered accountant, including a 15-year tenure in the wider education sector. Prior to joining BET, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Times Higher Education for four years and spent over a decade at TES as Financial Controller. Paul's extensive financial background also includes 15 years at RELX, a FTSE 100 company, where he held various senior finance roles.

Following his appointment Paul said: "I'm delighted to have joined BET and look forward to working with the executive and leadership teams in delivering on the vision and strategic objectives of the Trust."
