BET 6th Form 2022: Success stories once again!

18th Aug 2022

The Bourne Education Trust’s 6th form schools celebrated fantastic results today in both A-levels and BTECs. Despite the challenges of the last few years and not having sat formal examinations since the age of 11, students did themselves and their families proud.

Chief Executive Alex Russell OBE congratulated the Trust’s schools and said: “I am delighted to see that the hard work of our students and teachers has paid off. This cohort have experienced a huge amount of upheaval and challenge over the last few years, and they truly deserve this impressive set of outcomes. We all wish them every success with their next steps.”

The Trust was delighted with another 100% pass rate in both A-levels and BTECs and with 25% of sixth formers achieving one or more grade A or A*. The consistency in BET’s results over the last four years shows the integrity of school leaders during the Covid era of teacher-based assessments in 2020 and 2021.

Individual schools welcomed students to collect their results and had staff at the ready to celebrate and to support students with their next steps into education, employment or training.
