Bourne Education Trust is delighted to announce that Sythwood Primary School continues to be a 'Good' school, following Ofsted's two day visit in October.

The inspection team particularly noted the 'purposeful' atmosphere within classrooms with leaders being 'ambitious for all pupils' identifying the 'essential knowledge they want pupils to learn in all subjects'.

Inspectors commented on the excellent practices within reading, and the enjoyment children derived from their learning finding the school to be  'a calm place' where 'pupils are polite, kind, and helpful to adults and their peers'.

Nicola Matheson, Headteacher, said: 'I am thrilled that the inspectors witnessed the fantastic work that takes place in Sythwood Primary School every day.  The judgements are testament our brilliant staff, remarkable children and of course the support we receive from our parents and the local community.'
