Following the key stage 4 results published in January, Bourne Education Trust has been congratulated by the Minister for State School Standards, the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP and the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the School System, Lord Agnew as one of the top 10 Trusts in the country for EBacc entries.

With 67.7% of pupils entered for the EBacc, the Trust has once again been noted as a strong and successful MAT 'providing pupils with a sound basis for a variety of careers beyond the age of 16 and enriching pupils' studies, as well as giving them a broad general knowledge that will enable them to participate in and contribute to society.'

Alex Russell, CEO said: 'I am delighted that the hard work of our school leaders and the Trust in producing a broad and balanced curriculum has been recognised by the Department for Education.'
