Jubilee High School redevelopment project

4th May 2021

We are very excited to be able to share the plans for phase 1 of the £2.5 million refurbishment programme taking place at Jubilee High School over the next three years.

Students in the school’s year 11 and year 9 bubbles will have already started to see the beginnings of this project with their rooms having been refurbished over the recent school holidays, however the bulk of the programme will officially start in May with work starting on a brand new Business Resource Centre (which will be located on the site of the current school hall).

Carefully designed to give students a state of the art learning environment to use before, during and after school to support and enhance their learning experience, the Business Resource Centre will be equipped with 35 new computers, a dedicated teaching zone, a conference room and a newly relocated library.

Alongside this, the school will be equipping all classrooms with brand new furniture, transforming its reception and corridor areas and converting the old library space into a personalisation suite for smaller group and individual learning.

All phase 1 works are due to be complete in time to welcome students back in September, however in the meantime to give you an insight into what the new learning facilities at Jubilee High will look like we have included some artistic plans below, with progress updates to follow.

Should you have any questions about the project, please email info@bourne.education. Prospective parents wishing to book a tour of the new facilities should contact the school directly on (info@jubileehigh.surrey.sch.uk).
