Bourne Education Trust welcomes new Trustees

This term, we are delighted to announce the appointment of two new coopted trustees to the Bourne Education Trust board. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will undoubtedly strengthen our leadership and contribute to the continued success of our Trust.

Lou Taylor

Lou joins our board as a trustee and will serve on the performance and standards committee. With over 20 years of experience in media and advertising, Lou brings extensive leadership expertise in governance, community development and social impact. Lou currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Surrey Police, the Abri Housing Group and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Director of Black History Month South CIC, focusing on championing inclusivity, diversity and social justice.

Paul Gallagher

Paul joins our board as a trustee and will be part of the resources committee. A chartered accountant with extensive experience in both public and private sectors, he brings over 25 years of expertise in finance and business transformation. Paul has worked as an international management consultant across multiple business areas including retail, healthcare, manufacturing and government. He has served as a Non-Executive Director in the NHS for 15 years, including holding audit and finance chair roles in South-West London NHS.

We extend a warm welcome to Lou and Paul and look forward to the positive impact their contributions will have on our Trust's future.
