I have worked within BET for over 10 years and I am deeply passionate about our schools and our work.  I joined Brookwood Primary School as Business Manager in 2014 and the school became part of the Bourne Education Trust the following year.  My role then further developed and in 2019, I became the Business Manager for Sythwood Primary and Nursery School alongside my continued responsibilities at Brookwood.

I joined the Trust’s central team in 2023 as Head of Business Development, leading a range of projects including the successful opening of Hopescourt School, our specialist free school in Walton-on-Thames.

Before joining the Trust, I spent over thirteen years in the civil service working initially in national positions in Sheffield and London. In 2001, I joined the South East regional tier where I held a range of leadership roles, working closely with local authorities and specialising in education policy and implementation.

As Business Director, I am responsible for the compliance, governance and legal areas of the Trust, as well as overseeing its marketing and growth initiatives, ensuring that the organisation operates ethically and in the best interests of its community.  I feel very privileged to be able to continue to work with such a diverse community of schools, and with colleagues who share a real passion and commitment to supporting our children and young people to succeed.
