After initially training and working as a journalist, I came to a point in my life where I was seeking a new challenge which was still people-centred but didn't involve long periods spent overseas, so I made the move into HR. I have followed that career path for over 20 years, with more than a decade of that spent in various roles in the education sector and, specifically, within Bourne Education Trust.
As People Director my goal is to lead the people and culture strategy in a way that embeds the core values which make Bourne Education Trust such a welcoming and inclusive organisation for all our pupils, colleagues, trustees/governors, parents and visitors.
